Update on Dog Found on Hwy 6

Update: The dog I found near Hwy 6 and Keith Harrow was not accepted by my older dog, so today (10/30/2011) I took him to Houston Humane Society near Beltway 8 and Almeda. He will be held as a stray for 3 days, after which he will be evaluated for adoption. (They think he is probably a Schauz-a-poo.)

Today (10/29/2011) I found an adult male Miniature Schnauzer mix (salt & pepper) wandering around the old Bear Creek Assistance Ministries store near Hwy 6 and Keith Harrow. The guy who runs the Taekwondo place across the street said that this little fellow been running around there for about two weeks. He is tame, but not used to a leash. He has an infected or injured eye, so my friend and I are going to get him evaluated by a vet tomorrow. We will see if he has a micro-chip at that time. Found in West Field Estates Katy TX on 10/15/11. She is an older girl with no microchip or I.D.

Answers to Taz. NEEDS MEDICATION- 2X daily for heart murmur and 2X weekly for calcium defiency which causes her to have siezures when her calcium level gets low. Female, spayed. Cropped ears, docked tail. Was groomed 10-4 reverse cut so very short, has mustache skirt and long hair on legs. Very sweet not aggressive at all. Has small bumps on her back above her shoulders. Have been told they are Schnauzer warts.
Taz was in a 2011 white 4dr F150 truck stolen from Costco 1604 & 281 parking lot at 3 pm on 10-5-2011. She was wearing a black and silver bbSimon crystal collar with Val Verde Veterinary rabies tag and a dog milagro charm to keep her safe. Aside from having her with us bigges regret is that she wasn't microchipped as we live in small town and she was always with my 80 yr old mom. $5000 REWARD
