Found Small Male Schnauzer

I found this sweet little guy early this morning (Houston Heights area). He was wearing a red flea collar, but no tags. He looks well-fed, is very friendly and played in the yard with my dog while I got ready for work.
The vet said he doesn't have a microchip.
Does he look familiar to anyone? Would anyone care to give him a home?
